Gorgeous, well-maintained sites with friendly camp hosts. We stayed as a mid-point while backpacking the Wilson River Trail. There are no real backcountry sites on trail, so for $15 we opted to sleep here. For the price you get pit toilets with toilet paper, well water spigots, and firewood at $5 a bundle. Luxury to backpackers everywhere! Campsite 7 has nice river access to boot! I was glad I threw a bear bag when a mouse investigated our picnic table around 2am. Be advised and hang your food!
We stayed in C5 on April 21 and had the whole place to ourselves. The vault toilets were clean and paths well marked. No electrical hookups or reception, but that's what camping is all about.
Keenig creek is a great stop when I go fishing, some beautiful spots, great camping along the Wilson river. Fun trails to explore with your truck or hike.
Wonderful campground. There is an area you can pull up to unload your stuff then parking is a free-for-all. Right next to some rocks to jump off and there is a rope swing under the bridge you drive over to get to the campground. I had an absolutely amazing time here.
we camped here July 15th -July 16th 2023 in spot A1 and our backpack was STOLEN out of our tent while we were down at the water. it had all our clothes for the night plus my phone, boyfriend's wallet and car keys. besides that, this place is beautiful and awesome with the water nearby. so many day-use people coming and going passing by all the campsites so just be aware of what you leave behind because PEOPLE SUCK.
Camp site was really quite, not a lot of people there. sites were well maintained and clean. Quick and easy access to the Wilson river. Only one bathroom but was very clean as well parking is a short distance from the sites, we stay three nights though and didn’t run into any issues. Overall 10/10 rating. Also you can get cell service if you drive about 15-20 mins towards the town of Tillamook, or if you have iPhone 14 or newer version with iOS 18.5 or better you can access satellite services for text messaging only.
