Warm inviting and full of great fun! Beat the Heat and swim the privet beach! Got fish to clean they have you covered also with two cleaning stations (running water) for your convenience. This is not only a Campground this is a community.
My grandparents have been camping here forever. My kids love it. Bathrooms are well maintained. Beach area has lots of room and great shallow area for littles. Playground with setup for bigger kids and smaller kids.
Mr Kellogg, a great teacher, a great guy, and a great campground! Thank you.
This campground has a tendency to be busy, with the campers really close together. I guess that says something about this place, but not really my scene. The lake does offer great sandbars for swimming, but the beach leaves something to be desired. It also is right off the road, so cars can go by rather quickly, however, it's fenced in for safety.
I like to read reviews about campgrounds before visiting when they are available. We travel all over the country for work, so have been to hundreds one bad review is not good for any business, but I am more influenced by the response to the review by owners it management. I am not impressed by the comment about "no loss" if those campers never returned. It should be every businesses primary goal to have their patrons return. It was handled by all around I think, but the Management's response is enough to make me go elsewhere.
