For equestrian campers, each site has a 4-stall tie-down shed with a gravel base and rubber mats. The double site has two of these sheds. A designated location along the stream is available for watering horses. Note that corrals, pickets, and high-lines are not permitted; horses must be tied in the stalls.
The Spring Creek Horse Trail offers varied terrain for riders of all skill levels. During wet conditions, riders are advised to use Forest Roads to avoid damaging the trails. The riding season typically runs from mid-May to late October.

Park is very nice, this is a rattlesnake habitat and do NOT bring your dog, move carefully on the trails. Bring a snake bite kit because this place is very remote. Trails are beautiful and very hilly. There is a sharp turn into the camp and a bridge. Lots of online chatter about how big your rig can be to get into the park. Do not worry about it. If you had a 30-40 foot trailer, you will have no issues getting into the campground. My friend hooked up including her truck was at 46' and had no issues making the turn. The park is VERY hard to find. Do NOT follow the Google directions, instead, look for the Marienville Gun Club or the Summers Camp signs off of Route 66 and go into the campsite passing the gun club and you won't get lost. Do NOT go down Goat Road. Campsite 4 is the only double campsite, it is next to a creek and is shady. Campsite 3 is also very lovely. All the sites are nice, but campsites 3 and 4 are the best ones.

I've been coming here for over 30+ years, way before it was an equestrian park! Most of the Equestrian people are nice but you get a few who think they are better than you but we just ignore them! We love Kelly Pines and the Allegheny National Park!
I would just like to say my wife and I and sometime my daughter and granddaughter would from since 1999 and up till 2015 have enjoyed Kelly Pine it’s been a highlight of our life spending time with good friends in the outdoors and horses due to an auto accident we’re not able to go anymore but we have the memories thank you
The outhouse was almost full and the snakes needed removed from it. Need to have stone there for the horse area after cleaning up and the manure pit was about full. Also, a dumpster would be great for trash. I mean, after all if we pay we need it to be clean
