The campground has bathrooms with flush toilets, showers that take tokens to use, lots of trees, dog friendly, a beautiful lake and good sized camp spaces. The negatives are the cottonwood trees that are shedding right now and dead fish in the lake. The ok part is they tried to make navigating from one area to another wheelchair accessible, but the pathways with the raised walkways aren't wide enough for passing a wheelchair(eg coming from the opposite direction.)

Wonderful campground with kid-friendly campsite circles. The water was a bit low, the cottonwood was releasing its beautiful but messy white fluff, and the spiders and bugs were out in full force. Nevertheless, great site at any time of year.

This place was beautiful. It was October and everything was nice and green. There were wooden plank walkways. It looked like each campsite had access to the plank trail. This place was more than I expected. Flushing toilets, paid showers. Everyone was nice. It had a slough on one side, and a lake on the other side. A bridge that crossed over to the main road, a lot of easy walking, fishing, swimming and boating. It was very clean as well.

My husband and I camped here for a nice relaxing two nights with beautiful views of lake, went fishing and went downtown. But did not get any sleep because the groups of people camping made noise all night long and the park rangers did nothing. So quiet time here is a joke and people don't care to respect others. Not happy with this park or the people running it.

The Clear Lake is delightful, you will enjoy it if you are looking for nice view, calm and not crowded camping experience. We has camping site 59 which is near the lake. The spot is awesome. But not shaded and slightly smaller size, it is fine for 2 tents. The weather was 82-86°F under the sun. But I felt 100° 🏜 that is too hot to set up the tent and prep food without shade. I mean it! Most of the restrooms are closed due to the sewer problems. Each location has only 1 restroom, which is still clean and well maintained. People does fishing and swimming, too. If you have boat, fishing may be a good idea. But the lake does not look clean after 11 am, that is why I do not prefer to swim here. Both camping host and ranger were friendly and kind to my family and me, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask them. Be aware of the mosquitoes, they are at everywhere and at the evening they will have a meeting next to your tent 🤦🏻‍♀️ (if you forget the bug sprey or sun cream, do not worry. There are grocery stores close by the state park within 15 mins) Our overall experience is good, and I can recommend it.
