40 mins drive from Oakhurst. Vaulted toilets. No water but there's a stream to collect water from for washing dishes. We brought up drinking water in 5 gallon jugs. Its a horse camp and cows free range here, so keep dogs tied up. The online reservation system is confusing. We ended up driving up and talked to the camp host at Soquel Campground nearby to get a campsite. There are double and single campsites. It was very quiet and peaceful when we went.

Probably my favorite camp site for the year. From Highway 41 it is about 14 miles in. The first 10 miles or so is paved, and the last 4 miles becomes dirt for a while, paved for a while. Just go slow, avoid the pot holes and all is good. Loved the campground it was so peaceful out there, you can feel yourself relax. Bring water, etc. There are pit toilets, very well kept. Make sure you print out the travel directions when you reserve a spot.

Very quiet and scenic campsite in the forest. You do have to drive a very long and windy road to get there. Towards the top, there are many potholes, so be prepared. Wonderful grounds keeper though. She will bring wood directly to you if you want.

A darn fine campground in an amazing and secluded place. Central to a lot of the Sierra forest attractions, if your able to set Kelty Meadow as a basecamp and do a whole lot of driving. Primitive camping, but that's how camping should be. Don't get lost, there has been some confusion with directions how to get there. But if you're reading this now, youre looking in the right spot. I really hope you enjoy this camp, I know I did.

Excellent, well-kept but remote camping site. Takes about 20 minutes from CA-41/632 branching point into the forest. Some rough road.
