Spacious campground with many spots at the Creek or more in areas with shadow. During the week it's alright, but many people come driving in and out. In the weekend it can get pretty crowded here
Big free campground right next to the Mineral Creek. Camp is just below the 550 highway so there is some road noise. Has a restroom on site. Multiple areas to find a camp spot.
I've camped here over thirty years and it's always a welcome visit. They do have a bathroom which makes it nice. The campground will accommodate anything you're planning on camping in or a simple tent. Sun or shade, out in the open, or secluded, it's all there.
Great little spot, roomy, clean pit toilet.
The best things in life are FREE!!! Very impressed with this site… 100% plan on coming back. Pick in, pack out. No water other than the creek. Pit toilet did run out of toilet paper while we were there. If it’s really windy, this spot can be tough and fires can be hard to tend.
