Introduce

Welcome to Kennally Creek Campground, a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, located off Paddy Flat Rd in the beautiful area of McCall, Idaho (ID 83638). This campground offers a scenic setting for those looking to experience the outdoors.

Visitor reviews highlight the absolutely beautiful location of Kennally Creek Campground, making it a desirable destination for nature lovers. The area is appreciated for its natural charm and appeal.

However, it's important to note some specific feedback from visitors. For those planning to bring horses, the actual campground is not set up for them. There is a limited space right before the campground that might accommodate possibly two trailers, but it is reported to be uneven and not specifically designed for camping with horses. Additionally, the availability of riding trails in the immediate vicinity was described as minimal by one visitor who had to hi-line their horses.

Kennally Creek Campground is a federal location, which means that state-purchased park access is not recognized, and therefore, no discounts are applicable. Another point to be aware of is that there is no trash collection at the campground, so visitors are responsible for packing out everything they pack in. On a positive note, the campground does offer a pretty well-maintained restroom facility for visitor convenience.

Despite the limitations mentioned, the beautiful location remains a significant draw for visitors who appreciate the natural surroundings. Actual campground is not for horses. Right before the campground, there's only room for possibly 2 trailers and it's not level. Hitches are set in the back and the parking area is not set up for camping. Trails are minimal that we could find. The area was very beautiful. Not sure if I'll be back due to limited riding trails. We hi-lined the horses.

Love the location. Absolutely beautiful area. Will be back. However, I do have two items that I wish were different. One, because it's a federal location, not a state campground, the state purchased park access is not recognized and therefore no discount allowed. Two, I wish it had trash collection of some sort. It won't keep me from coming back, but just be aware you pack it in, you pack it out. Does have a pretty well maintained restroom.

Was camping there once. During heavy bear season. Beautiful place. Hopping to be there again.

Pretty CG with bathrooms and potable water. It was closed when we were there due to a bear in the CG.
