Enjoyed the time we were there. John and Miranda were wonderful in the restaurant and meals were good. Cabin was wonderful and the bathhouse was too. Very clean. One cabin had their music playing loud one evening and after calling, someone from Kennedy Creek visited that cabin and took care of the issue. We are looking forward to a return visit!
We were passing through Suches while riding the Chattahooche BDRx. Our group of 8 stayed in the dorm room. It was clean and comfortable. Jon fixed supper for us and it was very good. He also arranged to have breakfast for our group the next morning. They even allowed us to leave a truck and trailer at the property while we finished the route. We will definitely be back there again soon.
My son and I literally stumbled off of the Appalachian Trail into the resort. We needed a day of R and R and this place was perfect. Chef John and Paige were some of the nicest people I have ever encountered. View was amazing, beer and AC were cold and the bed comfortable.
I just spent two weekend nights in the Americana bunkhouse which was comfortable. Also the communal toilets and showers, which were right next door, were clean and reminded me of summer camp when i was a kid (but with private stalls). The tavern porch was the place to be for late afternoons and evenings. The food was very good. The atmosphere and view of the property is outstanding.
We showed up relatively close to closing time for the restaurant after they had apparently had a busy weekend, but the one remaining server welcomed us and provided excellent service. The food was incredible and the views from the outdoor seating area were great. If we’re passing through the area again we will certainly be back.
