We are a pet-friendly campground, featuring a large and scenic dog run. However, we ask that all dogs be kept on a 6-foot leash outside of the dog run, and require proof of vaccination. Please be mindful of other campers and adhere to leash regulations.

Campsites vary in privacy, so we recommend reviewing individual site images when booking through Reserve America. For larger groups, some sites are connected. Completing pre-registration can save time during check-in. Check-out is at 10 AM.

For those planning a visit, we suggest bringing a canopy for rainy weather and considering activities in nearby Woodstock. Kenneth L. Wilson Campground offers a great location for camping, being a favorite for those within a 2-3 hour drive from NYC.

Really peaceful. I thought the lack of cell reception would be a real burden, but it was nice for a night I do wish there was ONE spot on grounds that had it though because I had to drive up road 5 min to get reception enough to change my reservation. Camp staff members were incredibly involved, even going from one campsite to the other and interacting, sitting and watching cars entering, and checking in with campers. I appreciated all of this! It made me feel so safe! There a large dog park-and signs reminding dog parents that dogs must be leashed at all times anywhere else-but none of the dogs I saw were leashed. I do wish people would obey the sign. I love walking and roaming, but a dog being friendly dislocated my hip last year, so I have to stay away (I have a medical condition that makes me fragile), and I get scared when dogs are off leash. At the showers, there was an off-leash husky just sitting out front. I simply didn’t shower, but that’s not fair to me. Leash your dogs in public places (and a campground is a public place). Other than that, I found the camp to be perfectly peaceful. Best night if sleep I’ve had in months!

Great location for camping and my favorite within a 2-3 hour drive from NYC. Clean bathrooms, showers, and campsites. As others have mentioned, there is no cell service in the area. All campground staff my group encountered were extremely helpful and kind. Campsites: Some campsites are more private than others, so it’s best to look at individual site images when booking on reserve America. If traveling with a larger group, some campsites are attached to one another (such as 1 and 31) Completing and printing out the pre-registration time will save time for you and other campers waiting behind you when checking in at the entrance. Check out is at 10AM Pets: The campgrounds feature a large and scenic dog run, which was great for tiring out my pup. There are no additional fees for pets but dogs require printed / hardcopy proof of vaccination. Outside of the dog run, dogs must be on a 6 ft leash. Weather: If there’s rain, it’s best to bring a canopy that covers the picnic table or find activities to do in nearby Woodstock Amenities: - All sites have a picnic table and fireplace with removable grates - Hot showers on 5-minute timers (the water gets hot fast and is too hot for the first 3 minutes in my opinion) - Nature foot trail that’s essentially a walk through the forest within the campground - Kayaks are available for rent - Firewood is available for sale at check in for $14 per bundle. I could’ve used 1.5 bundles for the 2 nights I was there but was able to buy one and forage for deadfall nearby, seemed to be plenty) - Garbage and recycling bins - Dishwashing station with commercial-strength sprayers

Great spot for tent camping. They have a fire pit and picnic table at each site. Friendly and helpful staff. They also have bathrooms and showers available. The water in the shower was more hot than I expected which was really nice. It’s a great location near some nice hikes in the Catskills. There’s also some trails in the park that are fun to explore. Best of all: no cell service! A true vacation and I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to unplug and relax.

I’ve passed the place many times but never stopped in until now. Wow…what a little gem. It was mid October so it wasn’t busy. My wife and I took a short walk on the hiking trail and then went around the lake. The view of the Catskill mountains was beautiful with the Fall colors. I plan to be back to take a longer hike and also check out the camping area. Entering the park there is an entrance booth which wasn’t open so the park was free. I’m not sure if the day use area has a fee during the season. The campground is open from mid May to early October. The Day Use area is open year round. There is a large parking lot and a building with bathrooms that wasn’t open this time of the year.

Really nice and relaxing camp ground! No WiFi so you can just relax! Clean shower and bathroom facilities. Close to Woodstock. The hiking trail takes you into the forest.

Just got back from my first time, and it won't be my last. Very nice campground, well maintained, and has all the amenities. You can't beat the area it's in and what's close by. You can see your neighbors but that was not an issue for us. Each site had ample space and was perfect for tent camping. Onsite trails, pond, dog park, playground, etc. really awesome.

The camp sites had a nice distance between them. The bathrooms were…ok and the showers were really far away so you’d have to drive. Generally everything felt really far away and required driving - showers, water front, dog park. I suppose that could be a plus for some people. It was also verrrrry loud at night. The campground staff did not enforce the quiet hours at all. Two separate groups set off their car alarms multiple times through the night, an air horn went off, and both groups were incredibly loud well for hours past quiet time. I wouldn’t say this place is family friendly.
