Customer Reviews
Kents Lake is a beautiful campground. The weather was unseasonably warm, but still better than the 100+ degrees the rest of the state was having. We were at site number 10 which has a large stretch on the water. I noticed many other sites had very little flat areas for a tent. The campground was well maintained and the host Mike was very nice. The lake had some sort of algae bloom so the water was really gross, but we tried fishing none the less. The vault bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Many of the sites have very little shade, so you will want a pop up shelter if possible. I gave it 4 stars because of minimal level ground and reduced shade, but I would recommend this to any friend.
I stayed at camp site 17, by the lake and next to the bathrooms. No showers and a compost toilet which I knew. The bathroom was very clean. The camp host was easy to work with, as we arrived late and didn’t check in till our second night. The lake is spectacular to look at, and all around it was a quiet campsite. The chipmunks are adorable to watch too!
The STARTS AT NIGHT!!!! Solo/Family/Group friendly. Quiet. Clean. Beautiful area! Loads of wild life. Not many flies. Didn't see one mouse. Deer walked through our camp in light and dark. Awesome drinking water! Beautiful views. Lakes above and below (more campgrounds also). Shade is not hard to come by. Dirt road. We took our dogs, they loved it! Cool sounds affects in the "valley". Tons of birds. Loved our three nights! No showers. No flushing toilets. No trash cans or dumping. Dumpster at the bottom of canyon. Fire wood all over *they cut a bunch of trees down. 6/2018, grab some on the way up, the burnt wood lasted a long time. ♿ Acceptable. Trailer and tent sites. Group site also. On my top list of favorite camp grounds!
Enjoyed this great campsite. Great trout fishing. Many deer in meadow before dark. Only negative is skinny gravel road in places. Be careful driving up, 4-wheel drive best.
This campground is definitely awesome. The only complaint I have is you cannot get a camp trailer level in space 4. But the host says that during the offseason they are supposed to come in and level all of the sites and redo the road. We were able to get switched over to another space. The host is very friendly and accommodating. All of the campsites are within walking distance of the lake. We spent 5 days here and will it was very enjoyable. Throughout the whole 5 days here I never walked into one of the restrooms that wasn't clean. They take really good care of this campground. We will definitely be back
Crazy host doesn't seem very organized sat and waited 4 hours after the people were supposed to be out of the spot we wanted there is no swimming or anything but fishing water is full of moss is not a lake even it is a pond with no inlet so very stagnant load all the time oh and is not handicap freindly as you can tell from the pics say it is but the spots are overgrown and full of loose gravel plus nearest bathroom is about two blocks from them
