Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park

We picked this resort for its location. Very convenient for all of our family to attend. The check in was friendly,fast and flawless for our 20 guests. Throughout our stay the staff continued the above superb service and made our stay excellent. Checkout was easy peazy too.

We met family for lunch in the restaurant and a long visit in the lobby. It wasn't an overnight stay so I can't comment on the rooms. This is a wonderful place to meet and visit. The food is delicious and the view is very pretty and relaxing. The staff is always very gracious and helpful.

They tried to charge me 21 dollars for my 8 month old who was going to be sleeping in his own pack and play. Not to mention the room had two queen beds and only me and my husband were the only adults. That’s one adult to each bed and our infant in the pack and play. Crazy. Found a much better spot at comfort inn for less and they adored our baby. Your loss. My gain

Don't trust 3rd party bookings, booked thru Expedia and didn't show up thru their system. Luckily for me it's off season and didn't have any issue getting a room. Room is smaller and dated, bit to be expected seeing how it's a state park. Rooms were clean, beds were met. Room has a back porch that overlooks the lake. Staff was absolutely amazing. Shower was hot with good water pressure.

Great food and great customer service! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Rooms and cottages very clean. Highly recommend. So much better in every way than Barkley Lodge!
