Customer Reviews
Located just outside Kerrville, great place for an overnight stay. It's not pretty. Next to a mobile home park. BUT. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a great store with beer and snacks etc. A tiny pool, a laundry, showers, rec room, and diesel and unleaded gas pumps. They also sell propane. Everything worked well but the cable. Very quiet. There is also a dog run.
Mary at the office was great when I called to let her know we would be arriving late. We received clear instructions and had no issues. Park is quiet, but Goat Creek Road seems to be a major throughfare - LOTS of traffic. It's very noisy right next to the road. Camp sites are well kept, nicely spaced apart, have picnic tables and fire rings. There are even 2 cabins. The bath house is adequate. Would stay here again if we could get a place away from the road.
We’ve stayed a couple of nights passing through and we will continue to stay here. The location is very great, super close to everything. The place is clean and the staff is very helpful and very nice.
This is a nice KOA for a stop-over or a short stay if you are visiting the area. Sites are basic, but are level and the hookups all worked. They have a pool that was closed for the season. The laundry room is well maintained and machines were operational. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have a nice store and in addition to propane, this campground has a gas station.
Spent one night on a journey driving from CA to FL. Making a reservation by phone was easy the day of, and check-in was super easy. One of the hosts came out to my camper to assist in getting me in my spot. The campground is off I-10 a mile or two down a curvy road. Go slow and you'll be fine. Entrance intructions/signs seemed confusing, leading me to enter the wrong way. Maybe I was just tired. All in all, this was a good experience, at a fair price.
