This is one of my favorite places to camp. The campground is basically boondocking as there are no hookups for RVs. According to the sign in the campground, a reservation is supposed to be made before occupying the camp site. There are flush and pit toilets, an RV dump, and places to get fresh water in the campground. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites have great views of Lake Roosevelt as well. There is a marina and boat launch adjacent to the campground as well as a small store. A fee is charged for the boat launch, and an invasive species declaration has to be signed and placed in the vehicle used to launch the boat. Boat gas is also available. All in all, it is a great camp spot, especially if boating and fishing are part of the planned activities.
Beautiful area. Decent water access in certain areas. Camp ground is mostly level and smooth. Can't wait to go back!
We had a nice spot by the river. The spaces are pretty small for vehicles with larger campers. We had enough room with our truck camper. It is a short walk to the marina to play in the water. There were some really pretty colorful rocks.
This is a beautiful location to camp. Unfortunately, it was fire season and a nearby fire and others caused there to be a lot of smoke, so visibility was very limited at times. We loved the park, the area and really enjoyed our stay. Facilities were top notch and very well cared for. We enjoyed a park arranged soloist musician at the amphitheatre one evening. We hope to go back another time so as to see the area when it is not so smoky.
What peaceful and beautiful place. Although we only spent one night here - we were enroute to another place - it was great.
