I have been going to Rattlesnake Hammock. Been going since 1979, use to be better before the state bought it and fenced half of it off, River Ranch takes good care of the property and its members are always working together to keep the place clean, it's a great place for family outings, or just to enjoy nature, lots of deer in this Area and wild Boar.
If u are looking for a primitive place to camp on a tent, this one is perfect. From the entrance is around 6.5 miles and then make a right.
Secluded place ... Wild and peaceful.
If you like being out in the middle of nowhere, this is your spot. No water no bathroom. Come prepared.
