We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Kickapoo Valley Guest Cabins. There is no other place like it in the midwest, may the planet?! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by the most adorable faces - the lamas! Checking in is easy and fun with Cowboy Joe. Cowboy Joe is one of the most welcoming souls I've ever met, and we hit it off right away. It's a joy to meet one of the owners - it helped me feel safer and I rested easy knowing Cowboy Joe was there for us. Bonus - we had the most DELICIOUS home baked peanut butter chocolate breakfast muffins - what a gift! We stayed in The Albertella Homestead, probably the best cabin on the planet. Expansive views, rocking Adirondack chairs, a kitchenette, and so much love. We could not imagine a better getaway and will be returning year after year! Thank you Kickapoo Valley Guest Cabins!

Can’t speak highly enough of this place! Snuck away from the city for some quality alone time to write and wander without day to day distraction and this place nailed it. Immaculately kept, and perfectly in the middle of damn nowhere. Highly recommend this escape, and will be back asap! Thx for having me!!!

Simply INCREDIBLE!!!!! The cabin was cool and smelled great when I walked in, there was no musty, moldy, old cabin smell whatsoever 👍 The location is breathtaking! You can see all the stars in the sky at night. Incredibly peaceful place . The owner is very attentive to his guests and makes you feel very welcomed. Best stay in a cabin I’ve ever had 🥰. I will be back! 😉

OMG!!! What an incredible place! I walked in to a beautiful cabin that was nice and cool and did not smell musty and moldy like other cabins I’ve been in. The scenery was incredible and the owner goes above and beyond to make you feel at home!!! I am definitely going back 👍😁

Had a fantastic stay! Loved everything from the quiet, beautiful location to the amenities and quality of the cabin itself. Everything was so clean and bed was super comfy. Cookies and cake were delicious! Such a relaxing location, truly sanctuary! We will be back 😎
