Toured this beautiful historic property and home, with three knowledgeable guides / docents. They do not receive government funding, so do consider taking the affordable paid interior tour to support their operations, it is well worth it!
This is such a beautiful place with charming architecture and a lovely garden. One of my favorite features was the small koi pond on the upper side of the house, which adds a peaceful touch. The entire setting feels serene, and the architecture truly stands out. When you're driving there, be sure to take a look at the nearby Victorian-style houses – they’re stunning and really complement the vibe of the area. It's a wonderful spot to visit for those who appreciate both nature and historic architecture. Definitely worth a stop!
This place is very beautiful. I was more interested in the house, but the grounds are stunning. Amazing place to just visit and take in fresh air, and hopefully be respectful of the property and neighborhood. Parking could fill up if it gets very busy; I’d say there’s about 20 spots. The fact that the tour of the house is $15 is nothing short of exorbitant. I don’t know if ol’ Kim is broke, but that’s ridiculous. So four stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place feels like stepping into a fairy tale. I came here for my niece's quinceañera photo shoot, and it was absolutely stunning. The grounds are impeccably maintained, creating a beautiful backdrop for photos. You need to reserve at least an hour for the shoot, though it’s a bit pricey at $200. They are strict about the time, so be mindful not to go over. The on-site bathrooms for changing were clean, and the staff member in charge was very kind. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
It's such an amazing place to have historical vintage buildings and yet so pleasant to see. It's definitely a must-see. The surrounding gardens are Expectacular filled with natural green trees and amazing ponds and koi fish. The structures on the walking path are unique. Unfortunately I couldn't tour inside the house, it was closed for tours.
