King's cabins Introduce
King's Cabins, a family-owned and operated establishment located in New Lexington, Ohio, provides a distinctive offering within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. This introduction aims to deliver a detailed and objective overview of this unique outdoor accommodation, encompassing its environment, services, features, and available promotional information, all based on publicly accessible data. It caters to a specific niche of outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those interested in off-road adventures and nature immersion.
The environment of King's Cabins is characterized by its direct adjacency to the vast Perry State Forest, a key aspect that defines its appeal. The location is nestled amidst "rolling hills and wooded areas" typical of Ohio's natural landscapes, providing a serene and rustic backdrop for a getaway. Being "located right beside the Perry State Forest" means visitors have immediate access to extensive public land, primarily known for its extensive network of trails. The natural setting offers a sense of seclusion and tranquility, ideal for those looking to disconnect from urban noise and immerse themselves in nature. The region experiences a range of temperatures, from the "20s in winter to the 80s in summer," indicating a four-season environment that supports various activities throughout the year. The surrounding areas are generally rural, contributing to the peaceful atmosphere. While not directly on a major body of water, the emphasis is on the expansive forest environment and its associated activities. The natural landscape provides a habitat for various wildlife, appealing to hunters and nature observers. The overall ambiance is geared towards those who appreciate a less developed, more natural camping experience, with the convenience of specific outdoor access points.
As a specialized offering within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, King's Cabins provides distinct services tailored to its clientele. The primary accommodation options include "2 cabins and 2 campers on site to rent," catering to those who prefer a more structured lodging experience than traditional tent camping. These rented cabins and campers likely offer basic amenities such as beds and shelter, though detailed internal features would require direct inquiry. For guests bringing their own accommodations, there are "4 spots to bring your own RV or camper," indicating a smaller, more intimate RV park setting. While specific hookup details for these RV spots (e.g., electric, water, sewer) are not explicitly detailed, it's typical for such sites to offer at least electric hookups. Given its focus on outdoor activities, fundamental services like access to "toilets" are expected. The nature of a "family-owned and operated" business often implies a more personalized and attentive service from the proprietors. Communication channels are straightforward, with contact available via phone (+16145658752) and email (kingscabins2024@gmail.com) for inquiries and reservations. The emphasis is on providing straightforward, essential lodging and access to the surrounding natural resources, rather than a vast array of on-site communal facilities typically found in larger, more resort-style campgrounds.
The features of King's Cabins are strongly tied to its strategic location and appeal to specific outdoor recreational pursuits. The most prominent feature is its direct proximity and access to the "100 acres of trails" within the adjacent Perry State Forest. This makes it an ideal base for enthusiasts of "side by sides or quads," providing direct entry to extensive off-road vehicle (OHV) trails. For hunters, the proximity to a "5000 acres of public land available for hunters" in Perry State Forest is a significant draw, offering ample space for hunting pursuits. Beyond motorized recreation, the trails also provide opportunities for "hiking trails," allowing for exploration on foot. The cabins themselves offer a comfortable base after a day of outdoor activities. While not extensively detailed, amenities within the cabins might include basic cooking facilities, heating/cooling, and sleeping arrangements suitable for families or small groups. The small number of available rentals and RV spots fosters a more private and less crowded atmosphere compared to larger campgrounds. The local area also presents additional features, with "nearby attractions include the Hocking Hills State Park," which is renowned for its scenic views, hiking trails, and natural wonders, offering a complementary destination for day trips. This strategic location near multiple significant outdoor recreation areas greatly enhances the appeal and features of King's Cabins for its target audience.
Regarding promotional information, King's Cabins, as a private and smaller-scale operation, tends to rely on direct communication and its inherent value proposition rather than widespread, complex promotional campaigns. The price range is advertised as "$40 - $150 / night," indicating flexibility depending on the accommodation type (RV spot vs. cabin/camper rental) and potentially the season or duration of stay. The direct contact methods (phone: +16145658752, email: kingscabins2024@gmail.com) are the primary channels for information regarding reservations, availability, and specific pricing. The online presence on platforms like The Dyrt serves as a direct advertisement, highlighting its location and core offerings. While explicit "promo codes" or "seasonal sales events" are not widely detailed, the appeal of its specialized access to Perry State Forest's ATV and hunting trails serves as a powerful, inherent promotion for its target demographic. The "family owned and operated" aspect can also be a promotional draw, suggesting a personalized and welcoming experience. Visitors are encouraged to contact King's Cabins directly to confirm rates, availability, and any specific details relevant to their planned visit, as information for smaller, private campgrounds can be more dynamic and less extensively published than for larger resorts or state parks. The focus on direct value—access to trails and comfortable lodging—is its main promotional strategy.

Customer Reviews
Very relaxing campground. If you're in to APV trails, they are backed up to Perry State Park. Owners are wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely be going back!
Great friendly place to camp. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable. We had a great time. Will definitely be back.
We were there for a family reunion with 66 people, Loved it! Lots of open space for kids to play and the adults could sit and visit. Most of the family lives within a few hours away and brought their own camp chairs, there are some chairs at the location. The owners are the nicest people.
