Kings Kamp RV Park, Marina, Hotel Rooms

Ruth, who works tirelessly and has the energy level of the Energizer Bunny, in the office at Kings Camp RV park in Key Largo, Florida is even more incredible than the sunsets you see here. I am 55 years old and never have I had such an excellent customer service and "can-do" attitude. I formed my opinion by watching her interact with other guests as well as our experience when we checked in. Kings Kamp park actually cost less money than the glorified "parking lot" (overflow no less, so NO sewer hookup!) we were staying at 5 miles up the road!! Ruth has such an efficient, professional, and kind nature. Excellent and delicious food truck/restaurant permanently on site. Many of the RV parks we've stayed at in Florida do not permit packages to be delivered- - King's Kamp does! In fact, the only thing I would change about our visit is if we could've stayed longer! Nice people, pet friendly, spectacular views, and the gentle song of the conch shell as the sunsets disappears-- Love this place!!

We arrived by boat, needing two new house batteries. Called the office for a slip, luckily they had kne available. They can only slip up small boats under 30ft near the boat ramp, which was fine for us. No shore power but that wasn't an issue. They only charged us $1.50/ft which is a price unheard of in the Keys. Before I even had my lines set, there were 3 or 4 park residents walking to the dock to offer any assistance. The People and staff here are first rate super chill. The residents have a daily gathering to watch the sunset and blow a conch horn to pay homage to the day. They6 invited us and we had a fantastic evening of music, dance, and met wonderful new people. We had such a great time we decided to stay a second night tied up to their dock. Highly recommended.

We liked King's Kamp atmosphere of friendliness of fellow campers, cheerful office staff, dolphins and manatees, available beach for swimming, and shaded seating in the beach. All this for a reasonable price. We biked a lot since stores and additional beaches were close by. We'd like to come back sometime. S & J

We stayed in the “library” sleeping room. What a great stay! Did it have a bathroom? No. Did it matter? Not at all. The restrooms are right behind the room. They are clean and spacious. The staff was amazing and supper helpful in getting us in last minute! We will definitely be back! 10/10
