I love going to cove boat ramp and going swimming, my concern is why??? Does the park allow all the grass to grow around the edges of that area & the camping sites. I can see letting the grass or plant life grow in areas that are not being used to go in and swim. I think they should manage the control of it being there and in the way of getting in the lake for swimmers. Especially paying campers who camp there and "try" to get into the lake and avoid the grass to get in...
AWESOME!!! Best picnic tables around!!!! The squirrels can be condescending at times. Alcohol helps to ignore their comments. Just drink before you come because there are no alcoholic beverages permitted.
Great location, really good amenities. Bathrooms are available and kept pretty clean (for a hole in the ground). You can spend a day here and be assured a lot of things to do. If you want a weekend getaway, come here, find a camp site, and relax!
Nice little paved walk way around the point with several hiking trails near by. Several pit toilets and a big shelter with picket tables and grills. Several piers for fishing and a Frisbee golf course. Day use area only, no overnight.
Nice spot to get away even if the parking lot is full don't worry easy to find solitude so much area to explore
