Carrie and Arthur are fantastic owners - they are super friendly and always willing to assist with any situation. The resort amenities are top notch and improving even more with the current renovation project. The location is lovely - very close to town so it's really convenient for essentials, yet far enough out of town for true peace and quiet. I highly recommend Kings River RV Resort.
This place was great! They are doing a lot of reservations and will look amazing this spring. The team at check in were great. I wanted to have a fire so it was a 50 amp site. I left my adaptor at home, I have a 30amp. They were like no problem just drop it off on way out. Met the owner dropping off adaptor, real nice guy! We will for sure be back this late spring or summer to see all the progress.
So we (Party of 7) had a great time visiting. We ended up just staying for the day as we had three elderly members. Camp grounds and facilities well maintained. Staff very kind and helpful. Location is about three miles away from Hwy-99 next to the rived. Quiet, Very Quiet and plenty of space from other campers. Will visit again and stay the night. Worth the visit/stay. Relaxing.
We had a wonderful week at the river! This is one of our favorite places to go in our motorhome. The staff are kind and accommodating especially Carrie and Sam. We loved the taco truck, pool and river. It's a great place for us to be and have our kids and grandkids come visit. The clubhouse made it doable on one particularly hot day. We ordered pizza and swam in the pool with the children until the pizza came which we ate in the clubhouse. The river was refreshing and still had enough water for a kayak. We'll be back.
PROS: Staff was so so sweet! They were helpful and so welcoming. The space was clean and the bathrooms were clean. My teenage boys loved all the amenities. We loved that they stayed open til 11pm. CONS: (not the parks fault) the bugs were unbearable! So many gnats and ants. We used so much bug spray, keep away bug candles , and a fogger but none of that worked. It was so hard to relax cuz we were constantly trying to get the bugs off of us.
