Would never recommend this campground to families. The management is questionable as they play favorites to long term campers. Hidden cost die to a lacking electrical system. Showers never worked properly. A lot of drugs and drinking as well. Great place for a party but not a family. My youngest son was bite by a dog here a dog that had been known to be violent yet never removed from the campsite. Save you’re money save your time and pick a better place being operated in a professional manner.
How is this even considered a campground? The road to get in is no only narrow but I'm poor condition..if it rains your getting stuck. The road that goes through, is in horrible , at some points you can't even see the road. There is an old mobile home on the property that is an eyesore, and many of the campers are also an eyesore. The only public bathroom looks like a run down camper. I get that you get what you pay for, and it is cheap , but come on...it looks like something from out of the movie " Wrong Turn".
I love camping, and this isn't a normal campsite, it is semi basic camping. It is all natural, the roads aren't even paved, for example.(I can go mudding on the back road during the drive into my site, woohoo!) There is no WiFi, because there is no Internet. So you can go there to "unplug" from the world of technology for a bit. It could fall under the what they deem as "survival" camping, because of all of this, but me personally, I wouldn't change a thing, I love it there.
I love this place I have been camping here my whole life. We do have some partys on spechial days, and it can get loud but we try our best to keep the noise down for people around us.
Guess the Bauers didn't like it. At least they could have written separate reviews instead of copy and pasting the first one. Take that into consideration, when considering the source
