Customer Reviews
I could say I’m a regular at the campsites but I notice the customer service is going to the the trash , we got the wrong information about the time the store will close and when we got there the staff was just leaving and they told us they couldn’t help us ! That’s bizarre I mean we staying there and the store is not completely closed . Also the bathroom cleaning is terrible , it starts kind of clean in the morning but throughout the day and night is disgusting and I understand it has to do with the people that stay there but come on you have a great stuff that could do a better job especially before going home and leaving everything nice and clean , Monday to Friday everything is cool and people are having fun with a descent volume on their speakers (radios) but when it comes to Saturday and Sunday night some of the guest think is a night club and with the lack of staff during those days there is no one to check on that ! They need better staff better cleaning and someone to stay a little late on the weekends! Is an amazing place that’s needs better management
Disappointing Experience at “Kittatinny Canoes - River Beach Campground” We recently had the unfortunate experience of camping at “Kittatinny Canoes - River Beach Campground”, and I can’t say enough about how poorly the service affected our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unwelcoming. One particular employee, whom I can only describe as “the girl with attitude,” was especially unhelpful. Instead of offering assistance with our check-in, she rolled her eyes when we asked simple questions and provided short, dismissive answers. It felt like we were bothering her rather than being welcomed as guests. The campsite itself had potential, but the lack of support really detracted from the experience. Facilities were not well maintained, and when we tried to report an issue, we received little to no assistance. Overall, the beautiful nature surrounding the campsite was overshadowed by the poor service. I hope the management addresses these issues, as it could be a great place to stay if the staff were more friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend “Kittatinny Canoes - River Beach Campground” until there’s significant improvement in customer service.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kittatinny River beach, and I can't recommend it enough! The views of the Delaware River are absolutely stunning, making it the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway with friends. The campsite itself is well-maintained and offers a variety of fun amenities that kept us entertained throughout our stay. Whether it was hiking, fishing, or just lounging by the river, there was never a dull moment. What truly stood out was the incredible staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help with any questions or requests we had. Their hospitality really made our experience special. Overall, Kittatinny is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature while having access to great facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to return!
I recently had a very disappointing camping trip at this campground. The bathrooms were dirty, and the site location was uncomfortably close to the highway, making it noisy and unpleasant. However, the worst part was the service we received. The front desk receptionist, Nei (or Nay), was extremely rude. She yelled at our group for minor issues, like keeping our dog on a leash, and her responses to even the simplest questions were snappy and disrespectful, even towards children. She yelled (yes yelled) at someone for taking a picture close to the entrance of her office. In my multiple trips to campsites or any interaction with a service professional within the US or internationally - this individual was a complete outlier. I can cite 10-15 instances of this behavior with our group in our 2 day visit at this site. The initial shock of dealing with her eventually turned to amusement. I really hope management addresses this behavior asap, as it certainly detracted from our experience. I would advise potential campers to look elsewhere if you're seeking a welcoming atmosphere.
We had a wonderful relaxing weekend! Clean very pretty wooded sites close to camp store & river access. Rae & her mother the General manager could not have been more accommodating & helpful from the time we arrived until we left. We did the kayaking river tour which was wonderful as well left from campground by bus then kayaked back to campground. Milford was such a cute town as well with lots of restaurants & shops. Just a great weekend!
Campground has no amenities. There is a camp store. No pool, no game room, no mini golf ⛳ The bathroom and showers are clean. The campsites are spacious. The employees are friendly and helpful. River activities are available. Only negative is the large group next to us( at least 10) did not abide with quiet time. I was awoke at 2 am with loud music and laughter. This night I had to say something because it was a nightly thing. They quieted down but at 7:15 am the music came on again. Management should assure quiet hours are kept quiet.
this was our first outing in our camper and the first week of opening season. the front staff were wonderful, explained everything that we were very comfortable. the sites are well maintained and the river view is amazing. Bathrooms are clean and the store is well equipped with everything you need. We will definitely go back.
I organize an annual trip every year for my martial arts school. I usually have to handle about a 20+ group. Every year we are not disappointed. Kevin and Vivian @ River Beach Campground were both extremely helpful. I received multiple calls to make sure I was taken care of and informed. Being that I'm not a pro planner it shows they are on top of things.. Thanks again to Kevin and Vivian.
Great campsite right on the river. Clean and well maintained. Restrooms were clean and well kept. The store is great and well equipped and the service was excellent. We are going back in a week and a half and can’t wait. We are also excited to take A rafting trip this time.
I’ve enjoyed camping and rafting and zip lining at Kittatinny for the last 20 years. We River raft several times a year. We’re already talking about July
