This location is a good park to stay in because the staff in the park work hard to get you everything you ask for. Unfortunately the corporate office isn’t quite as cooperative. They put restrictions on the office staff’s ability to put people in the site they want based on arbitrary policies. They obviously haven’t visited or spent enough time in this park to understand customers reasons for site requests like being away from the highway and train noise if you are staying long term or have a big rig. The office staff tried really hard to reason with corporate, but there was no flexibility. Evidently it’s a software restriction since there is a national call center handling all reservations. I’m hoping they can fix that restriction. It would also be nice to be able to call the local office directly. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do that. The local staff were great and they were doing their best to keep up the park in difficult weather. Thanks Melody, Ruthie, and Michael!
Stopped at the resort coming back from an RV trip that was over 2000 mi. This was one of the nicest places we stayed on the trip. Very friendly and professional front desk lady who checked us in. The facilities were super clean, the RV site level and nice, great hot tub, dog park and overall grounds. Even being by the highway and train tracks, we'd definitely stay there again!!!
Great place!!! We only stayed 1 night so we didn't get to utilize all the facilities, but it was beautiful, safe and a great price. Comfortable with lots of space, easy to park. We typically just stay at a rest area when we drive through town, but this was worth the small fee. We will definitely be back!
This is a very clean campground. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and enjoyable. The laundry room was also clean and easy to use. You have to use an app but it was easy to figure out. They have a jacuzzi, but I didn't want to attempt with 3 little kids. I would definitely return here! I gave a 5 star for rooms, but we only used an RV pad. They were perfect.
The park was only 18 months old so everything was new, clean and organized. Keep it up. Staff was great. Right off the hwy and fueling stations across the street. Great spot for an overnight or a few days depending on your needs. Sites a bit close but all level and some have gas fire pits. Further back away from the hwy is a bit less noisy although it's not bad anywhere. Trains travel pass and some enjoy the site of them and others may not so adjust your site selection. Overall, the park is a definite do over on our next trip.
