Beautiful, free, and on the water. Who could ask for more? Pit toilet. Only 1 spot good for Starlink. Quiet solitude. On the Lewis and Clark trail which is one of the prettiest drives in the country.
Very wet, but great campsite. Had a fire pit and spots for 4 tents and 3 vehicles. On Friday-Sunday morning trip not too much traffic at all. No hiking trails in walking distance though.
Large campsites with good fire pits and big tables. Quiet. Nice stretch of river for fishing.
Lovely no fee campsite right along the river. I don’t believe there are hiking trails within walking distance from this site. Fire pits had grates for easy cooking and ample dry wood around to start a fire. Only downside is it’s right off a main road where trucks occasionally travel in the middle of the night, detracting from the camping experience and sometimes loud enough to wake you up. Also, only 5 sites so your chances of finding an open campsite may be slim. I took the 1 open site when I’d arrived.
We had this beautiful small camp ground to ourselves.
