Customer Reviews
We came across this resort by chance a few weeks ago when the Heffley Creek campsite was closing for the season. A little piece of paradise. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and were very helpful when giving advice about fishing and the types of flies that worked well. The fishing was excellent and they even sold flies at the office. The views from the campsite were amazing and the whole resort was very relaxing, clean and peaceful. We were in a self-contained camper so didn't really need any of the facilities at the resort, however we took advantage of the spotless washrooms and fresh well water. We did try out the shower ($1.00 for 5 minutes) but the first time was disappointing as the water was cold. Upon reporting this to the staff we were told that there was a problem with the pilot light but next time to run the hot water taps in the shower house for a few minutes and then turn on the shower - this seemed to solve the problem, but a longer term solution would be beneficial. There isn't any internet or cell phone service at the campsites, however there is reception at the office, although spotty at times. This is something that could be improved on in the future. Overall this is a place we would recommend and we plan on coming back again. Thanks for a lovely time.
This resort was spectacular. We stayed Jan. 2025, and the entire resort was absolutely beautiful and magical! I felt like I was on the set of a Hallmark Christmas movie everywhere I went. There was an extremely well kept skating rink, a sledding hill, ice fishing as well as a lodge with foosball and many other games, snacks and drinks. The cabins were warm and stocked with everything we needed and the bathrooms were clean and beautifully updated. The service was beyond amazing, I accidentally left my earbuds in my cabin and someone brought them to town and dropped them off. I cannot say enough about how incredible this resort and the staff are and I will definitely be back!
Very nice location but I have found that the services are slipping a bit. The cold shower was not very pleasant, no hot water available in the washroom. Also it is quite a walk to the showers and up the hill to the washrooms, having some of these facilities at the far end of the campground would make it a much nicer place to stay.
A group of 21 ladies from Kamloops booked the group camping area. Nice and at the back so didn't bother anyone with our music and shenanigans. Great little park. Would have been nice if the outhouse had some lime added to it as it was very stinky and the door was almost off the hinges and had finally fallen off our last day. We did enjoy the time at the park, kayaking and paddleboarding. A suggestion would be to have a tap with running water up in the campsite area. Already looking to next year.
Had our wedding there in augs of last year, was amazing! Owners and staff are amazing.
