Been going here for about 30 years. A little busier then it use to be, but who doesn't want to make more money. Very family friendly and the kids and I always feel safe here. Snack shack has awesome food!!! People are welcoming.
If I could rate them a zero I would. I’m not sure what has happened the last two years. I’ve been camping here with my family for at least 15 years. My parents and family have gone since they were children. The staff is AWFUL, so rude, and made up MULTIPLE lies. Apparently the new staff is an issue for multiple families. Apparently if you don’t have a child on your hip, you’re not considered “a family”. I’m 26 and was treated and looked st like a teenager by one particular employee and I’m not okay with it all. This place is a disgusting joke now, the staff is a joke. I really highly suggest you get new staff before you have a number of families who have gone for years not go again.
The beach was meticulously maintained. Our site was level and well taken care of. I was very disappointed though, for the first 5 days of the week I spent there the showers closest to me had no hot water. I did walk over to the further showers and there was a line. The staff at the snack bar we're not friendly and actually quite rude at times. I got a horrible case of duck itch as did my friend and her 4-year-old grandson. There should be a sign because many other people had it as well. I don't plan to go back there again.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and now I bring my own child to continue those memories and traditions. This is such a great place! Lake is awesome, views are spectacular and they have a great variety of activities. Can’t wait to come again!
Love coming here every year with the family. The events that they have Labor day weekend are awesome. The lake is beautiful and they have a space cleared at the beach and a dock to swim out to. Only reason I don't have five stars is that we picked a site close to the bathroom so it's convenient for our kids and that bathroom/shower/laundry had been shut down for two years. They have two more but they are further away. Staff is very friendly and good to their repeat customers!
