I give this a 2 star based on two experiences combined. We stayed here for 2 weeks coming in on the 4th of July. We were pleasantly surprised at the easy access to many areas and the security along with price. Actually cancelled reservations at a state park because we we felt good where we were. After leaving the area for a few weeks heading further East, we decided to stay again on our way back through for a week. Once we got on the web site to verify it wasn't during the Quarter Horse Event and pricing was still $35 a nite. The way this spot is set up, you drive in and pick a location. The next morning you will more than likely be wakened by a pounding at the door by SP+ collecting for the space for the duration. Tou (or Tom) rapped at 7:00 am to collect, we were a bit surprised he was charging $50 a night. When we questioned it as it had only been 2 1/2 weeks since our previous stay, he was very direct and rude stating "it's on the sign". We paid our fee and decided it was not worth staying again in the future as there are RV parks in the area with Pools and other amenities for that price. Disgruntled, I e-mailed the Expo to verify the price hike since the web site didn't reflect one. I did receive a response that they did change it and the web site says prices could change at anytime for any reason. Two days into our stay, a neighbor came over to share that when they were approached to pay, they were told we paid $50 a night and they were getting a better rate of $35 a night because they just dropped the rate back down. We immediately called to question the difference. Tou (or Tom) answered the call and said he was speaking to his boss and would let me know in the morning. I asked if he still had our check so I could just write a new one. He again was direct and short statinng "no, we don't keep them", and he would be there in the morning to discuss it. I also e-mailed The Expo again, which never responded. Around 10 am Tou did show up, with check it hand. We were charged $50 a night for 3 nights and $35 for 4 to drop to the price our neighbor had paid. He was not happy that our neighbors shared what they paid and stated that they should have minded their our business. Over the next couple of days the campground filled up for a barrel racing competition. They pulled in at high speeds and parked taking up 2 and 3 spaces with trailers pulled in diagonal any way they could fit without anyone giving guidelines or direction. The morning we were packing up to leave, the same neighbors that had told us of the price change came over to inquire if The Expo had made things right, after explaining what happened they proceeded to tell us they were tore into for telling us what they were charged and demanded that they needed to pay cash for their extra days. Of course they refused and paid by credit card. Needless to say be aware of what you are heading in to, we will not use this facility again where they were so dishonest and tried to over charge. Thank goodness there are good people remaining in the world who speak up trying to do what is right.

The only place of its kind w/in I270. Very private with security provided by Ohio State Patrol. Although weekend's were hectic getting to r.v. because of events at fairgrounds, once you spoke with parking attendants it became easier to enter. Tom, the manager, is very pleasant and friendly.

The grounds are very uneven, and some spots do not have a sewer hookup. The whole place needs to be leveled up and repaired.
