We were in the area a day earlier than planned due to a funeral. Kozy Kamp happened to have a spot open and we snapped it up! Nicest owners and staff and co-campers. Not much for cell signal - and that’s okay - it’s camping! Nice park nearby with a dock. Bathrooms are at the main office. Very reasonable price.
I was in the Trout pull up water and electric spot just for the night. It is next to the lake which can be seen slightly through all the vegetation. There is a porta-potty on site. Though I didn't use it as my rig is equipped with a bathroom. No wi-fi at the site. Only around the office. The spot is not quite level. The electric is set up on the one side and water on the other so you'll need to make sure you have enough hose to reach. I had to hook my two hoses together and it worked fine. I wasn't there long enough to have to use the showers or laundry so don't know about that but staff and surrounding campers very friendly. Lots of mosquitoes though given the area it's understandable.
Best camping around! The owner Doug is super accommodating as well as super friendly!! He keeps the restrooms & showers very clean! I don't think there is any dog that Doug doesn't enjoy!! The Sunday morning potluck breakfasts are great! Plus you get to meet & chat up your fellow campers!! My Honey & I stay all summer long & I couldn't imagine going else where!!
We just had our first family camping trip this weekend and we are SO happy it was with Kozy Oaks Kamp. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, the campground was clean and easy to navigate, and the amenities and activities were fun for the whole family. We played mini golf, enjoyed the fire, and explored the state park. We will definitely be back! 10/10!
Kozy Oaks Kamp is an amazing campground! Very kid friendly. Theres playgrounds all around the campground, mini golf by the office, a pool open in the summer months, an arcade and a little store.
