Camping here was so beautiful...every site has a water view. Rented a cabin in early October. Looking forward to next year....a hidden gem.
Kring Point State Park is easily one of the top three parks you have ever been too. Parking is ample. Sites are close but all have water views. Play ground and beaches to share for all. Docking and boat launch for the water craft. We stayed at spot 19 and the restroom was new and fantastic. The check in person was pleasant. I also pre-registered and had a printout of it. This a lot of exposed rock which looks amazing but can have an affect when pitching tents, be mindful. I'll be back.
Beautiful location. Water views at every campsite. Available boat docks. Cabins are VERY rustic and have amenities of electric, a fridge and a microwave. We scrubbed the fridge and microwave as there were dirty handprints all over. Blinds on all windows were broken. Very affordable though.
Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Grounds are very clean and there is not a bad site.
I've been going here since I was a little kid. It is an absolutely perfect park to camp in the summer. The water is crystal clear and warm. You can expect temperatures in the '70s with no humidity. They have plenty of facilities. The scenery is amazing. The town is not too far away. There is great fishing, fire pits, places to swim, and a cliff jump at the far end of the park. The only thing I could complain about is the goose poop. But the geese are cool and you can't have one without the other.
