Beautiful camp ground, overlooking the canyon ridge. Sadly the La Junta trail is closed for the foreseeable future which is the trail that takes you down to the river. Definitely a very nice place to stop and camp for a few days Stoughton, the overlook itself is worth it!

The area and views were amazing. The La Junta trail was closed however that did not pact our enjoyment of the area and views. It was spectacular. Thisbis where the Red River meetsbthe Rio Grande. The park was nice well kept. The weather was amazing (being from texas it was the best). I would gladly go back.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery! The sunset was amazing! There were a couple naked men there, but the view was worth it!

Beautiful spot to check out the gorge at its widest and deepest spot where the red river meets the rio grande. A short walk to the overlook and tent camping or picnic spots available.

This is the best view in the whole place! Seems to be the nicest campground as well, but is likely popular. We kept saying what a great place it would be for a wedding/graduation/reunion/birthday, etc
