La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanab

Kanab is a great staging area for the fantastic hiking opportunities in a 2 hour radius, especially if it is off-season. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was an excellent value and the free breakfast opens at 6:30 so you can get a relatively early start to your day. The only issue we had with our stay was a flaky key card but someone was always available at the front desk to help and it did not hinder our plans.

As a Wyndham frequent flyer I am going to say that they all have ample fluffy white towels; soft white cotton sheets; a great little fridge; coffee maker; nice new tv with tons of channels. The room was lovely. They welcome pets. The breakfast was great! Waffles; scrambled eggs; sausage. Variety of toast; bagels; muffins. Yogurt and cereal. Fresh apples which were actually very good! I ate mine with the peanut butter they offered! My husband (a Marine Vet) appreciated the veteran special parking. Great discounts for veterans as well. Very pleased. Great deal for the breakfast an all.

Decent room for the price. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. My only complaint was that the heater in my room sounded like an F-22 talking off. I had to turn it off to sleep. But they gave me extra blankets so it all worked out.

Stayed for one night but somehow faced some issues: first room we got had a technical issue on the locker which switched open/closed every 6sec. Got a new room and after breakfast it wouldn’t let us in anymore as the battery of the locker died. But the staff was always helpful to get us through. Room was big enough for one night and mostly clean, so was the bathroom.

Nice clean hotel with all the amenities and full breakfast. Our family of 4 stayed for 1 night at La Quinta Inn & Suites, Kanab, UT in Aug 2024. The room was clean, neat, and spacious. Mattresses were average. There were full blackout curtains that kept us in complete dark in the morning. Bathroom was good and clean. Breakfast had full selection of cold and hot items. Check-in/check-out were quick and smooth. There were two issues: Body wash dispenser bottle was empty. It was quite an unpleasant find while taking a shower after long day. Had to get out of the shower to get a soap bar. Also, shower door handle was loose and falling off. I had to tighten its screws to fix it. We also found some leftovers drinks in the fridge. Looks like housekeeping and maintenance attention needs an uplift here. Other than the above we had a good stay and found this hotel to be a good value for the money.
