La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Lake George

Very very spacious room with a very comfortable bed. A few complaints is the loudness heard through the walls and door. People shutting doors and kids in the hallways being very loud. Also. The chlorine in the pool area was so strong my eyes were watering and stinging. And the bottom of the kids pool is very sharp. My neice had 2 cuts on her from the roughness of it. Overall it's a very nice and clean hotel in a very good location.

I've stayed here a few times and I'd love to give them a decent rating because the hotel itself is nice, the rooms are nice and the pool and hot tub are great. The fact i was charged 150$ extra for smoking, when I don't smoke... is outrageous. Nobody smoked anything in my hotel room, I should have never been charged. When I called I was told there was evidence of smoking materials in the room ... so if someone had a pack of cigarettes on their table, does that mean they smoked them in the room? The person i had staying with me smokes, he did NOT smoke in the room. This charge was wrong and trying to get them to remove it is becoming a stressful process as the lady at the front desk said she doesn't have the authority to do so. Edit: No smoking has EVER taken place in my room, neither time I've stayed here. The snarky reply is not appreciated, and I will be taking this as high as it can go because this accusation is completely unacceptable. I am not a liar and I do not appreciate being called one!

We had the issue with the room conditioner-heater. Outside was 23F and it did not go higher than 70 making crazy noise, we called customer service, someone came to take a look promised to fix and nothing was fixed so wile had to sleep in a noisy cold room. Swimming pool was nice, breakfast not too good, very limited and poor quality, front desk people were nice and friendly. I added the video of the sound we had to sleep two nights with, crazy:(

I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta Inn. Nearby all the attractions - Adirondack Balloon Festival, Lake George etc and was affordable. Breakfast included. Rooms are pretty standard/basic and could be described as somewhat outdated. Getting a regulated temperature in the room was a challenge due to older air conditioners for example. However they were clean, and well maintained, so aesthetics & technicalities were secondary. As for the service, the front desk people were nice, and so were the cleaning attendants. My only negative encounter was with one employee who was in charge of breakfast and was extremely rude to an elderly man who misused a waffle machine (likely due to his own confusion). Other than that, if you’re looking for a place to just lay your head at night and do activities nearby, I recommend this place.

Checked into our room, there are handprints clearly visible on the headboard of the bed!!! GROSS! There is hair all over the bathroom floor…. Scuff marks all over the walls…. Toilet NOT cleaned! I will definitely ask to see a room before I book from now on. NEVER staying here again! I wiped down/ cleaned all the NASTYness in the room and can’t wait to check out in the morning!!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!!!! We would have asked to switched rooms or went to a diffrent hotel if it wasn’t so late in the evening! JUST WOW!
