La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oceanfront Daytona Beach

The room was OK, pretty clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. The view of the ocean was great, and the pool looked nice, although I didn't have the opportunity (or weather) to enjoy it. Biggest issue was noise and not feeling completely safe (someone knocking on your door at 5:30 am is always questionable). Very little places to eat nearby, and didn't get too many options when I inquired. Overall, it's NOT a bad place at all.

I’m so mad writing this. So the lady at the front desk my first night was so sweet and helpful. I can’t remember her name but she is Jamaican. Me and my husband was there for bike week and the 2nd night we had to get another room. There was a different lady at the front desk and she was so rude. When we went to get the new room, as soon as we walked in it smelled like smoke. Then the floor was super sticky like there was candy all on the floor. My husband went downstairs to discuss it with the lady and she literally handed him a mop and a cup of cleaning solution and told him to clean it up himself because they were short staffed. I was pissed. When I went to check out the next night I addressed the issue to the supposed manager and she didn’t even offer me a discount or apologized. I stayed there 2 nights and I will never stay here again. Plus there was NO hot water for showers. Everybody must of been taking a shower all at the same time smh

The facility is old however the room was clean. The heat produced cold air even though I put the heat on 90 degrees. Ended up placing a towel over the vent along with some books to hold the towel in place which helped some. Checked in around 7:30 pm and didn't notice it was not heating until I was a bit settled. I was in town for a funeral and had been up since 3:30 am. I checked out at 4:30 am to board a 5:20 flight. I do not recommend this property.

I would suggest looking elsewhere. The staff was very nice and helpful but the room was absolutely filthy. The AC unit had mold in it, so when turned on, it made the room smell. Some of our towels were yellow and the toilet was discolored. Not to mention the shower head and spout leaked the entire trip. Bed sheets were also not clean. I hate to be so blunt because it impacts business but this was one of the worst hotels I've stay at in a long time.

Beautiful place. It was nice and clean. Beach front. Sliding glass doors so we cud look out and see the ocean. Even left the doors open at night so we cus go to sleep with the sound of the waves. It was awesome. I can't wait to go back.
