La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seguin

I wish I had a better experience at La Quinta in Seguin, TX, but unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. From the moment I checked in, the issues began. The first room I was given smelled awful, had dirty, used sheets, and there was water leaking in the bathroom. I immediately requested a room change, hoping for better conditions. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t any better. Not only did I find dirty sheets again, but I also discovered something far worse—bed bugs in the mattress. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the other guest who came with me also found bed bugs in their room. That’s not just bad luck; it’s a clear sign of a major infestation and a complete lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. The entire experience was unacceptable. The rooms were filthy, the hotel had an overall unclean and poorly maintained feel, and dealing with bed bugs is something no guest should ever have to experience. I ended up leaving and booking a room elsewhere, as staying in these conditions simply wasn’t an option. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There are far better options in Seguin that actually prioritize cleanliness and guest comfort. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and makes immediate improvements.

Do not stay here… we ended up seeing roaches and bed bugs in the room and ended up leaving. We brought this up to the front desk who simply offered to have housekeeping service our room. We explained to them that the room would have to be fumigated or sprayed with pest control not a simple housekeeping service. This was the managers response.. we are still trying to be reimbursed for the nights that we did not stay due to their “roach”

Jennifer was polite, helpful and understanding. We were moving and reserved 1 room but needed to add another room. She was very helpful and change everything to fit our needs. We were exhausted when we arrived an hr early. She said, your room is waiting. OMG. A shower and cool room was exactly what we needed. It was 106 outside and after moving her attitude was OUTSTANDING. The rooms were clean, smelled nice, plenty of towels, supplies and temperature was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. Cost is affordable and worth every dime. We actually came in at a time that they had a little leak and the management was outstanding explaining why so many fans. The breakfast perfect for any age. Trust me I'm fussy and this hotel is your hotel.

This hotel is under renovation! The state of our room was appalling. There were ants in the bathroom and on the bedside table. There had been repairs started in the room but never completed. Part of the floor we were on had been "walled" off with plastic and there was a funky smell as you came off the elevator and in our room. The room was fairly clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was definitely not up to the usual La Quinta standards.

The Super 8 is next door - stay there instead. The room was really nice, quiet, clean and secure. No fitness center, no business center, no meeting rooms, breakfast choices limited, pool area has few chairs.
