La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Warwick Providence Airport

I was also worried about my stay due to reading such terrible reviews. My stay was excellent. I was greeted by Noel who checked me in. She was kind and extremely efficient. My room was very clean. The breakfast is a full breakfast, not continental! Janet was the person in charge of refilling all breakfast items. Janet was extremely helpful and spoke to all guests, making certain everything was satisfactory. She was more than great! The housekeeping manager, Christina was on every floor making certain all the rooms were cleaned properly. The comments made by prior guest are all falsehoods. I happen to enjoy walking the stairwell. This is an area that is often not kept clean at many hotels I've stayed at. The stairwell at the LaQuinta, Warwick, RI, was extremely clean. I saw how Christina was going from floor to floor, making certain all rooms were cleaned properly. Christina was also excellent!. Upon checkout I met June. She too was pleasant and spoke to all guests greeting them with open arms. Also upon checkout I met Philip. He asked me how was my room. I replied excellent, and that I did not understand all the negative reviews. He said, "that's just the way many people are". Philip was also very polite and accommodating. I truly believe the negative comments left by guests are to receive a refund! Please do not believe everything you read. I can't make sense about all the negative comments? All of the comments are falsehoods. All the staff I met make you feel at home, and want your stay to be a great one! All of the staff deserve praise, certainly not insults!

We will never stay here again, while staff was friendly the room was awful. Besides the cracked open ceiling, broken screen and sticky floors the bathtub looked like it never got cleaned. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We were disappointed as we've stayed at La Quinta hotels before and this one should be shut down, renovated and given a good scrub. Even the hallways looked like no one ever vacuums including our room. Don't look for a closet as there isn't one and the room smelled. Thankfully we only stayed one night last night. Do not come this this location!!

It worked for the one night we stayed there, but we don't plan to go there again. Our initial room wasn't ready (it was supposed to be ready by 3 at the latest, we arrived at 4). We were in a line of people who all had the same issue, room wasn't ready. When we got a different room, we realized we had no towels. Thin walls, thinndoors with space beneath the door and floor so you can easily hear inside rooms. The only saving grace this place had is the price, which was cheaper than others in the area due to the popular location.

They gave me a room that was smoked in and i went to tell them it was smoked in and they said that I smoked in it when i don't even smoke. Jay the manager was an asshole about it they don't care about you just your money, DO NOT SPEND YOU MONEY HERE, they also have bed bugs!!!!, i was bit 5 times on my hand!! go up to the Marriott hotel right around the corner just for a few bucks extra its definitely worth it.

The hotel has a good location, I really like the friendliness of the reception and kitchen staff. However, the facilities are very old, the gym is not in optimal condition, the machines are not maintained and are in very poor condition. The door key didn't work, it was stressful to struggle to open the door and the smell in the hallways is not very pleasant.
