Really good campground. Friendly people. Mike one of the campground workers is really helpful in anything you need. The tackle box bar was awesome you can tell they take pride in it and drinks are very well priced. The bathrooms and showers were always clean ofcourse you have a few spider webs but what campground don't? All and all my family will be back again
Loved our stay at the camp ground. The sites were spread out and the facility was clean. The small pub on site was clean with great staff. Special shout out to Sharon and Deja, lovely and friendly young ladies. I felt like we were leaving friends at checkout.
Nice place! Quiet and clean. Staff were accommodating. Felt welcomed and bar was clean with adequate prices. Would stay again. No picnic table when we arrived. Brought one in minutes.
BATHROOM / SHOWER BUILDINGS SHOULD BE CONDEMNED! The worst facility we have ever encountered camping. They obviously never clean them. There were some things that were there the entire 4 days we were there. Too many things to list that need repair. I will provide photo's. Were glad to be leaving & will never go back. I suggest getting a campground down the road in Minoqua.
Great place to camp, and now it has a NEW tavern there for evening drinks after a great day of fishing. The closest island, which is called Strawberry Island, is a historic/sacred place to the Ojibwe people. They won a huge battle there against the Souix to claim northern Wisconsin.
