This was definitely a 5-star experience. The hike itself is quite easy, mostly flat and very well maintained. There is something spiritual about this place, like a feeling that you are among something greater than yourself. The still quiet was impressive. I felt like I had to whisper so I wouldn’t disturb it. I left thinking about the majesty of these trees for days afterward.

This was probably my favorite part of our 10 day, Multi state, Multi national park trip. So beautiful 😍 Huge trees right along the 1.5 mile loop. The parking, and trail head are very easily accessible. Awesome trees, very well maintained trail. Great informational plaques along the hike. And many sub trails, if people wanted to take another adventure. WE WILL BE BACK

I arrived at the trailhead at 07:00am as I had no idea if it was going to be busy or not, being the #1 trail in Redwood NP. To my surprise there was only 1 other vehicle, and there was still plenty of spots open at the end of my hike at 09:00. Ironically, the road directly next to the trailhead is a major logging road, so log trucks went by every couple minutes. The trail is as others describe it. A nice path through the giant trees with signs along the way. I ended up hiking part of the Berry Glenn trail as well and saw a momma whitetail deer with her 2 fawns eating some ferns. They didn't seem to mind me being there and slowly walked off the trail after watching them for 5 minutes or so. I also saw a vibrant green tree fog jumping amongst the ferns. It was a sunny day when I was there, oddly enough I would recommend it on a foggy or rainy day, that would just add to the magic of the trees I think🌳

I recommend this trail if you have a short time to cover Redwood National Park. We were able to see the tall Redwood trees throughout the trail. It's a 1.3 mile loop and took us about 40 min to complete since we stopped at places for pictures. We visited here in the last week of August and there weren't a lot of people, so parking was easy to find.

This was an absolutely stunning, easy walk/hike. We were here in the late afternoon and the light was just spectacular. The road up is a little rough, but the parking is great. You’re able to get right on the trail after crossing a beautiful pedestrian bridge. there are plenty of places to stop and sit on a bench to take in the beautiful environment. One of the best hiking experiences I’ve ever been on.
