- Picnic Table: A sturdy picnic table is provided, serving as a central hub for meals and gathering at the site.
- Fire Pit Area: A designated fire pit allows for campfires, cooking, and warmth, with ample available downed firewood to gather nearby (check for any current fire restrictions).
- Water-Accessible Shoreline: The site offers spots to pull up boats to shore, including areas with sandy bottoms ideal for launching and landing watercraft.
- Open-Air Biffy: As a rustic site, Lady Island Group Camp typically features an open-air biffy (outhouse) for restroom needs, maintaining a wilderness feel.

- Firewood: While gathering downed wood is permitted, the ELC can also supply firewood for a fee, preventing the spread of invasive species from outside wood.
- Canoe/Gear Rental: The BLELC offers canoe rentals, and potentially other camping gear, providing a convenient option for groups who do not own their own watercraft or equipment.
- Educational Programming (by arrangement): As part of an Environmental Learning Center, groups can potentially arrange for staff-led hikes, camping skills workshops, or other educational programming, enhancing the outdoor experience.
Lady Island is geared towards self-sufficiency and appreciating the natural environment. While some modern amenities are available at the main BLELC facilities, campers at Lady Island should be prepared for a more primitive, yet well-equipped, group camping adventure.

Customer Reviews
Camped here in early August 2024. Great campsite. Had one very large tent pad that fit our 15' x 16' tent and had at least one more tent pad for a smaller tent. Good picnic table and fire pit area. Lots of available firewood to gather. Bugs were fine, not much of a concern until that hour at dusk, but they never chased us into a tent. Had two spots where I could pull up my boat to shore (with outboard motor), one perfect with sandy bottom and the other just ok. Kids caught 3 nice walleyes shore fishing.
