The Original Lair of the Bear camp. Great childhood memories. Haven't been in many years, but I remember that one cool thing was that every year the same families would book the same cabins during the same week. So, you already had a community of familiar faces in addition to great location and activities. Also loved the friendly rivalry with Camp Gold.

Fantastic place. I've been going every year since 2012. The staff are friendly and the food in great (especially for camp food). Great for kids. 3 hours from San Francisco and 8 from LA.
