We were camping so the room 5 stars is for the camp site. It was very clean, level and a good amount of space. The staff was very kind and helpful, you can always locate someone if you need anything. We have enjoyed camping there several times and would recommend it to anyone. Families were enjoying the time as well as singles. As full as the campground was, it was quiet and very enjoyable.

The place is nice, in the woods. Staff people are super nice. BUT! It’s full of bed bugs in the cabin number 4. Terrible. We had to call an exterminator only for our car after our stay there. My two kids, my husband and me are full of bites and my 4 months old had to go to the hospital because of bites infection in his face. Probably the worse post camping experience we had. The cabin was not clean. Be really careful and inspect the cabin before sleeping there!

Would not recommend. Ladies bathroom had no soap all weekend told staff told they would take care of it (they didn’t) husband said one of the toilets wasn’t bolted to the floor if you have a bigger camper get full hook ups as dump station is a joke. Horrible seasonal people. Rudest staff I have ever met. Pool is tiny. My 3 year old was board with the water slide after like 2 runs very small dog park (but at least they had one) with a bench on the outside of the fence. The store closed at 7 so did the ice cream place so no after dinner treat. The mine golf and arcade were a joke. 10 out of 10 would not recommend waiting your time or money there.

Very disappointed that there was nothing for my 11 & 14 year old to do. Theater was closed (only open weekends), arcade was old, rundown all machines were fo be removed according to the owner because they didn't work, only one pool even though pictures showed 2. Pool was very small. Fishing on lake was an added $25 for half day. There was pungent smells coming from the lake because of vegetation over growth at the pier. Bathroom, although very clean, was filled with spiders. Water pressure in the shower was very low & extremely hard to regulate water temperature. On the upside the park was very clean.

This was exactly the fall camping we wanted. We never find affordable cabins that allow dogs, so that was awesome. Staff was nice, camp store had the basics and then some. Hiked bomoseen state park and explored rutland, vt.
