Excellent, beautiful, clean campground. Sites nearer to camp hosts are quieter ,also have lake view. Hot free showers, well tended grounds. Great for kids and no kids. Near hiking, biking, no swimming in lake. We recommend Boo Huff trail. Park ranger was singing...yes singing while cleaning the bathroom. 10 out of 10.
Nice campground in a Riverside County Park in LA Quinta, CA. So anything you need is reasonably close by car. Very clean and kept park. Talked with two guys fishing this morning. I saw them in the afternoon leaving for a ride to Cochella. They had caught 9 Rainbow trout! Some sites are very spacious, no sewer hookups at any of the sites. So showers here are clean and handy. So your tanks won't fill up with shower drain water. There is a huge pool, empty now, winter the reason why? One draw back was the dump station flush water was not active.
The lake is very nice. You can’t swim in it, but you can fish. Also, it is very peaceful in the bathrooms are very clean, the showers are also amazing, next time I go camping I’ll come here again.
If you like guns shooting till well after dark, then this is the place for you. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was the hiking out the back door of our camp spot in the horse camping. But that’s even surrounded by a fence one way in and out.
We've been here multiple times. Always a great experience. Sites are adequately sized and marked. Friendly site employees. Clean sites and facilities. And a great view of the stars at night! Can safely ride our bikes through the park with the kids.
