Welcome to Lake Cove Resort & Realty, your gateway to a peaceful retreat in the heart of Dandridge, Tennessee. Nestled right off the scenic Douglas Lake, this campground and real estate agency offers a unique blend of natural beauty and practical amenities, making it an ideal destination for both short-term stays and long-term living.

The campground is known for its serene environment, with direct access to the lake, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the picturesque views. The resort also features a pool and a well-maintained shower house, ensuring your comfort during your stay.

For those with their own campers, Lake Cove Resort & Realty provides spacious and well-located sites that are highly praised by visitors. However, if you’re considering renting one of their campers, it’s important to note that some guests have reported issues with the condition of the rental units. While the staff is responsive and maintenance is quick to address concerns, the quality of the rented campers may not meet everyone’s expectations. Therefore, we recommend bringing your own camper for the best experience.

In addition to camping, Lake Cove Resort & Realty offers real estate services, making it a great option for those looking to find a permanent spot in this beautiful area. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a long-term stay, Lake Cove Resort & Realty provides a tranquil setting with all the essentials you need to relax and unwind.

Customer feedback highlights the friendly and efficient staff, as well as the stunning location. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of being right on the lake. While the campground prides itself on being “old school,” meaning no WiFi and limited cell service, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. If you’re planning to stay connected, consider bringing a cell data signal booster.

Overall, Lake Cove Resort & Realty is a fantastic choice for campers and nature enthusiasts who want to escape the city and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you’re staying for a night or a season, this campground offers a unique blend of tranquility and convenience that’s hard to beat.

I gave a 3 because if you have your own camper it is a nice place to be. We stayed here two years ago for almost a year in a cabin and loved it. Decided to move back and rent one of their campers for a few months until we found a permanent spot. We have been here for two weeks. No blinds on the camper, he was supposed to put some in. No heat in the camper and he gave us two small heaters but you can't run both because it blows the breaker that is locked up and can't get to it. We were told by maintenance that they had a bigger one in another camper and he would bring it up. A week later still never did. The windows don't close all the way. They had to be taped. The air conditioner in the back bedroom has holes on the board so tons of coldair comes in. We froze every night and morning and got sick. The back bed has I think poop on it so we flipped it and put a mattress pad on it. . Dog hair everywhere. Had to clean the camper as soon as we moved into it. Couch is broken and has been taped to cover a hole. They rent this for $300 a week. And if we would've stayed we probably would of went over the $75 that is included for electric, because we had to run the little heater almost all day just to try to stay warm.so leaving after two weeks and because we didn't stay for 4 weeks we lose our $100 deposit. No one at the office on Friday and that's the only day you can pay. They had me put cash in an envelope and put it in the slot. Never brought me my receipt. So renting one of their campers. I definitely don't recommend. But if you have your own it's a quiet nice area and right off the lake. I would recommend for people that have their own camper. But I definitely don't recommend renting one of their campers. I'm definitely not that desperate to find a permanent spot to waste $1200 a month. Especially right now hotels are cheaper than this until next month.

I appreciate the employees that run this place. They do have a few problems here and there but when you call maintenance they are on top of things. This campground is right on Douglas Lake and you can walk to it. The roads are very steep but that is what it is like living in the mountains. We came over from Sherman Oaks, just two miles away. One caveat about this campground is that they pride themselves on being “old school”, where you can get away from the burden of city life. There is no WiFi here run by the campground. T-Mobile and Verizon are very spotty for a signal. You will have to have a cell data signal booster if you want internet. The photos attached, one is of the pool and one of the shower house.

Steve is a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic. I feel that when my car is in his shop, it is in good hands. We take all of are vehicles to Steve for repairs. He's the best mechanic I have found in our area. He's a gem!

First off, Dave isn't rude. He has to keep a level of professional demeanor or he'll soon be stepped on. I rented till my health went down... Upkeep on the property was awesome. If it came a gully washer, the graters hit the road asap afterwards. The Cats? They are well taken care of by the community....and Dave. Never saw a roach the entire time I was there. I loved it there.

We rented a spot for the summer. We brought our own camper so I can't speak on the rentals (other than a friend rented a tiny cabin and it was nice but extremely hot. A window unit would make it very comfortable.) The pool is beautiful and all of the chairs are in working order. It is not a busy campground creating a quiet and relaxing experience. Even on July 4th, there was plenty of room in the pool with available seating. I noticed a review said the pool chairs were broken but they have been replaced. The boat launch was nice to have along with the ability to stake our boat at the bank. The dock is in need of repairs. There are a couple of negatives like the long term renters drive way too fast without a care to others safety. The speeding is not addressed. We didn't utilize the bath house but it isn't clean. This could be remedied with a deep clean a couple times a week, at least, with daily cleans as well. The grounds crew did a wonderful job keeping our site trimmed! They do a great job in the entire campground. We never had anything taken even when we had gone home for a few days. There isn't any wifi for the campground. I purchased 1 of the rv travel wifi packages and it was spotty for the area. Overall, we have had a terrific summer here- even extended our stay. We have a huge immediate family and everyone enjoyed coming to the lake and hanging out. It would've been nice to have a site on the lake but my view was toward the road and I got to look at the horses in the field on the hill. It was majestic. This place truly is a hidden gem.
