Customer Reviews
The people who run this resort are nothing short of generous. They are so kind and helpful in all ways. Thank you all for such a great experience.
While taking a leisurely drive, my wife and I happened upon LCR III and took a drive through. The scenery is absolutely beautiful! On our way out, we stopped at the Keno Cove Cafe and decided to have lunch and a cocktail. The owner/operator Diana Lowery-Pullia greeted us and was so friendly. She explained that their breads and pizza dough were all homemade as well as their ice cream, using fresh eggs and cream from local farms. We ordered a pizza and drinks ( a long island ice tea and a Moscow mule), all of which were fantastic! Diana went on to tell us that they have live music on Friday nights and have plans for a social venue in the near future. Inside the cafe is a little store where locally made items are sold with some of the profits going to a scholarship for local recipients. I highly recommend this cafe for a nice relaxing lunch and drink or an evening out! We will definitely be returning soon.
We rented a cabin in Winter, that being said thankfully I had 4wd to get down and up the road. Our driveway was plowed and salted. The cabin itself was amazing very clean, plenty of silverware and utensils. Fire pit. Plenty of seating for everyone. Every bedroom had it's own full bathroom!!! The grill was definitely a plus. Even the host was phenomenal to deal with. We will be back hopefully during the boating season. Thank you again
They really went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. They were thorough with places to see, eat, and activities in the area. We were given detailed directions and had no issue finding the house. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Beds were super comfortable. Any issues we had were addressed immediately and they followed up with a call. I'd give a 5 star if the house came with more essentials like shampoo and trash bags.
Diane (I believe that was her name) is the absolute worst individual I have ever come across in my life. She is a creative flop, with ideas that only a cardboard box would agree with (between you and I). She treats her workers poorly (getting upset at them for taking scheduled breaks), and she talks to them like they're stupid right to their faces. The state of the laundry room is abhorrent, and you can tell that the food is made with nothing close to flavor in mind, minimal effort, and is overpriced and inconsistent. I am truthfully disappointed in my recent attempt to relax at Lake Cumberland Resort III. Thank you, Diane.
