Fleming Meadows is our all-time favorite. We only launch out of here, and I’ve never really had a bad experience. The staff is extremely friendly, and Park. Rangers are great. Camping is a blast at the Flemming Meadows campground, we prefer section H since they are all full hook ups and for us it’s only worth it if we are there for at least a week.

Great launch ramp, only problem is people blocking ramp and docks because they either have no common sense, no respect for others or are just clueless. Wished they would watch the process from a distance until they understand the process.. It's really simple. Prep your boat before getting on or off the ramp, load or unload your boat and GET OFF the ramp. Keep your boat out of the launch area until your trailer is entering the water. 😲😲😲 All fish were successfully released back into the lake👍

Super fun place to bring kids! There's a $20 entrance fee but there's a lagoon for swimming. There's plenty of bathrooms, picnic tables and trees surrounding the lagoon. There are also areas for camping and fishing.

Great launch ramp, only problem is people blocking ramp and docks because they either have no common sense, no respect for others or are just clueless. Wished they would watch the process from a distance until they understand the process.. It's really simple. Prep your boat before getting on or off the ramp. Load or unload your boat before entering the ramp. Back your trailer into the water and either load or unload ur boat, attach your safety chain and RAISE YOUR OUTDRIVE and thenGET OFF the ramp. Loading boat and securing items for travel are NOT to be done on the ramp. Keep your boat, trailer and vehicle off the launch lanes until your trailer is ready to load or retrieve ur boat from the water. 😲😲😲 All fish were successfully released back into the lake👍

I didn’t even get to actually go hang out at the lake. Apparently they charge you for day use even without a boat which ok fine some places do that but their website makes sure the link to the “fees” is at the bottom of the site written in tiny little letters so you won’t find it unless you’re looking hard enough. So we drove all the way there just to find out they charge a whopping $20 (per vehicle) just to enter and another $10 if you have a dog (per dog). 1st paying $20 seems a bit extreme just to swim in a lake. 2nd why the heck would I have to pay extra to bring my dog with me?! I turned right back around and just drove a little extra to visit Pinecrest. A BEAUTIFUL lake surrounded by trees, FREE parking, and a snack shack that has pretty great food.
