Sites were a good size. We were able to get 2 right next to each other. Campsite was clean and bathrooms were as well. Good alternative to the springs in the area if you can't get a site there.
The campground itself is nice. The bathrooms are dirty. We were here for 14 days and they didn’t clean the bathrooms. They turned the faucet on in the bathroom to flood the floor with water. That’s how they cleaned. Toilets were filthy. The people that take care of this campground should either be fired or go through a training course.
This is a nice, clean and well maintained campground. The price is great. There were two issues. First and most importantly the road throughout the campground is full of pot holes. Be very careful if you walk on the road as you can badly twist your ankle. Second there is a lot of noise from the nearby highway and trailer park.
Great place for a weekend camping trip. Plenty of private campsites available for a minimal fee. There is a lake with launch ramp.
I don't know why there are a couple bad reviews. This campground is nice. The hosts welcomed us and were friendly. The bathrooms weren't spotless clean, but clean as national forest campgrounds go. They were stocked with t/p and trash cans were empty. The campground was just about full, lots of kids also. A couple of the showers in the men's room get stuck on, wasting most of the hot water. (Same thing last time I stayed) One night got pretty loud. I complained to the host at 10:30pm and they took care of it right away. I've stayed here before and will again.
