Just camped here for Labor day weekend. It was our first official camping trip with the kids and our camper. This campground is kept up amazingly well. The sites are spaced out so that you have a lot of room. Will absolutely come back here.

Had a wonderful Wal on the lost lake trail. Walked three miles on a beautiful day. The path was super smooth. They take really good care of the path. Not a hard trail to walk at all. We took the dog with us and it wore her right out. You can walk right up to the lake and the dog can get a drink. Bring water for yourself. Just a beautiful day in the woods.

Rustic campground in the forest with a beautiful lake and miles of hiking trails. Only $13 a night no reservations needed. Huge campsites. Just a couple miles from the town of Interlochen so you have many amenities there for stores and restaurants including a 24 hr. gas station...golf course...library...school of arts. Quite a unique little town.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Has always been one of our favorites. I have stayed here for about 8 years. I stayed at site 24 with my kids and another tent on 8/4/24. This campground is now overrun with cockroaches. Google Picture Search says wood cockroaches, but there were hundreds of various sizes all over our tents. In the poles. They were all over the sand and picnic table, too 🤢 I am saddened, but I will never return.
