We had a nice site with a view of the lake and marina. Sam reserved the spot for us and was busy keeping the sites clean during our overnight stay. Unfortunately, I have to give a poor review since the bathroom and showers were very dirty and there was no hot water.
It's ok to camp a couple of nights or if you own a boat or kayak. Bathrooms need an update. Town is nice for a little stroll and lunch.
I gave 3 out of 5 stars. The people at the park were nice, the ones i meet. The park is big and as expected due to location the sites are very close. A lot of long term residents there and our neighbors were noisy. The laundry facility is small for size of the park. The lake looks dirty but i did not get in it, a lot of people did. The price is right so we stayed there.
Went to buy a day use pass for the year and they don't sell them. Asked if they sold a yearly launch then and was told yes but YOU HAVE TO STAY ON THE WATER ONCE YOU LAUNCH!!! Meaning if you launch a ski, you will have to spend the day on the water with no rest or access to an ice chest at a spot or anything. I don't know what happened to this place but what used to be a gem really sucks now...
I had the time of my life, chilling with family and eating some good food, it is a place I would definitely go back too.
