Have stayed here three times and never disappointed. The rooms are quiet and well insulated. The heater in the room maintains the temperature nicely. Plenty of space in room for gear when traveling. Room ten had a stove, oven and full size frig. Parking is right out front but lot is small. Larger rigs can park behind the cabins in their dirt lot. There is an outside patio with gas fire ring. There is no one onsite but you can get extra TO in their storage closet. Room have coffee provided and does include a kettle for tea drinkers. Cabins are downtown so local stores are walking distance. Ski resort is 10 minutes away. Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a central place to stay in June Lake.
I stayed at Lake Front Cabins twice in the fall of 2024, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable, clean, and fully equipped accommodations within an easy, short walk of the lake, and the town of June Lake. Communications with the manager were EXCELLENT, fast, and friendly! I went with different friends each visit, and we'd all be interested in returning for another stay. We enjoyed sitting around one of the fire rings in the courtyard, while others were barbecuing and taking advantage of the picnic tables. This establishment is not on the lakefront, but I imagine that it was when it was built, however it's a very short walk to the marina, or you can take a short trail out to the shore. The first time I stayed, there was a group enjoying a family reunion, which Lake Front Cabins is well suited for, but the gathering didn't interfere with the peacefulness, and intimacy of our stay. I am looking forward to future visits.
Very comfortable and clean room, with everything necessary for a self sufficient stay. We slept well in cabin #7, as the main bedroom is away from the courtyard. Their was a lot of noise and activity in the central courtyard, with young children running around and playing, so the lounge and dining area of our cabin were not peaceful. Be aware that these cabins are not on the lake front and have no view of the lake. But we enjoyed our stay in the June Lake area, as we were out all day, including walks at the fascinating Mono Lake.
We have love your cabin! Small, efficient, everything we could need. Comfy bed and fluffy white towels! We can tell the attention to detail and comfort. We hope to be back soon.
Adorable is un understatement, pristine petite cabins with all necessities for a comfortable stay (feather pillows and comforter on bed, stocked shower, stocked kitchenette, cable tv). Community courtyard organized to fit multiple groups with adirondack chairs, tea lights, and nice gas grills. We booked unit #10 for 2 nights and due to lack of better planning ended up leaving our trailer in the parking lot for the first night and chose to stay closer to the event we were attending the next day. We left our trailer keys with our small trailer and were 3 hours away when we realized, the owner Bethany was so kind to have their on-site manager Carson find them and put them in our cabin for when we returned. It lifted a weight off our shoulders so we were able to fully enjoy our time and she was so nice about storing the trailer. Highly recommend 👌
