Lake Gogebic County Park, located in Marenisco, Michigan, offers a scenic camping experience within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. This park is known for its beautiful views of Lake Gogebic, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting for campers and visitors alike.
The park is particularly popular during the fall color season, when the surrounding landscape transforms into a vibrant display of colors. The lake itself provides a stunning backdrop for camping and recreational activities throughout the year. While RV camping is a primary focus, the park also welcomes visitors arriving in passenger vehicles.
Based on customer reviews, the campground offers a nice camping experience, especially during the fall. However, potential campers should be aware of a few considerations. The campground has relatively few trees, particularly in the lower areas, and sites may not be level. It is also advised to bring an extended water hose, as some hookups require longer lengths. While the park advertises pull-through sites, they may not be suitable for larger RVs, such as those exceeding 37 feet. Additionally, there may not be county personnel on-site at all times, and firewood is not sold at the location.

Stayed two nights in mid September. Nice place to camp in the Fall. Very little trees except higher up in campground. Nice view of the lake. No county personnel on site when we were there. No wood for sale. Bring extra hose for water hookup. We needed 75 feet. They say they have pull thrus but not for a 37 ft RV. Sites are not very level either.
Visited during peak fall color season. Absolutely beautiful and a peaceful calm came over me as I walked the grounds. While RV camping is permitted and encouraged, I found myself visiting in my passenger vehicle. Lake Gogebic sets the scene for picturesque views anytime of year, while providing abundant recreational activities!
Nice UTV riding and fishing. Absolutely love this place.
Loved the location for my first time camping. Had everything I needed as far as bathrooms and showers on site. Will be back again
Clean campground, clean restrooms and everyone was very friendly. The sites are close together so don't expect too much privacy.
Husband & I took a fall trip, stopped at this beautiful park if we had a camper diffidently would be on our list.
