This state park is pretty big. Only one way in and out. Their day use area has RVs parked, dry camping. You can rent a boat. Walk along the beach and check out the miniature lighthouses.
A nice little beach area around Havasu Lake. You can take a little walk along the coastline to a nice little beach which was surprisingly clean. There is a no dogs allowed sign posted but there are courtesy doggie bags available. The sunset is very scenic, especially near the tiny lighthouse. You can see London Bridge in the distance and there are a lot of dining options nearby.
Awesome park ranger helped us guide us around the park and nearby sites. We changed our plans based on his recommendations and was happy we did. Didn't catch his name but he was super kind and helpful! We saw a coyote, lots of bunnies, birds and enjoyed the the cactus gardens
This is a really nice lake! It's winter time now so no one at the lake but must be a really nice place to go during summer. I went right next to the lake but didn't take a pic. Just video.
We stayed in the cabin loop, Roadrunner #7. Perfect location for the swimming area of the State Park. We had a camp stove. Cooked meals on the picnic table; used the fire pit/charcoal tinfoil dinners and marshmallows! Bathhouse/bathroom/shower house is clean, water is warm/hot. Cabin was clean; A/C worked great! Rangers were awesome. Good job, AZ State Parks!!
